Media Communication Plan

 

This project will surely receive strong attention from the media world due to its original concept.It will draw the attention of all local and nation newspapers, providing
constant updates on the organization of local events and the final trip.
The paln will be organized as follows:

OSTREGA!-BUS:
Our bus is already on the road, with its custom-made external sides. Our partners and sponsors could have their logo written outside the bus upon special request.

WEBSITE:
The website features the sponsor's area, showing the organizations and associations giving their support to our project. Banners will also be available.

NEWSLETTER:
Every month we will send to our subscribers the principal updates regarding our initiative and the Ostrega! in tour project.

BROCHURE:
The main brochure will introduce the sponsors and other associations supporting this event, providing full details of the trip. We're estimating to print and pubblish 25000 copies, and maybe more.

OSTREGA IN TOUR DIARY:
we will also publish a diary of this journey; this sort of diary will be available at the end of our trip.

RADIO BROADCASTING:
All veneto main radio stations have been contacted (ie Radio Bella & Monella, Radio Birikina, Radio Padova and many more). National radio stations are on our contact list too (Radio Rai, Radio Dee-jay, Radio Company etc).

TV CHANNELS:
The main local tv supporter of our project is Reteveneta. National Tv station are also part of the list such as Rai, Mediaset, La Sette have been informed, in particular the main tv formats dealing with travels: Alle falde del kilimangiaro, Geo & Geo, Marco polo Tv etc.

THE PRESS:
The most important local newspapers are featuring our initiatives (or will be doing it real soon!). Il Gazzettino, Corriere del Veneto, La Nuova di Venezia, LA Tribuna di Treviso, as well as national newspapers and specialized magazines (Il Corriere della Sera, La Repubblica, La Stampa, Gente Viaggi, Done, Traveller...).

WEBSITES AND ONLINE COMMUNITIES:
Main local online communities are part of our media communication plan: "spritz.it" "2night.it". Veneto cultural websites such as

FACEBOOK:
Our cultural association can be found on facebook, providing frequent updates on the various events.

INSTITUTIONAL SPONSORS:
Institutional sponsor will be promoting our journey through their web pages and other materials.

PARTNERS:
Our partners are also an important part of this promotion effort.

PRESS CONFERENCE AND OTHER EVENTS:

Ostrega!-Bus, our main travel companion, is taking part in various events in order to promote our project. The first such event was the Agriexpo, held in Treviso on Sep 2008. A Press Conference was organized to introduce the project.
Moreover, with the help of the italian embassies and institutes of Italian culture, more meeting and events will be organized throughout our trip. During such events, both in Italy and abroad, we will provide the Veneto Bag.

VENETO BAG:
it looks like a normal paper bag, but it is indeed a promotional package containing brochures, catalogues, leaflets and all kind of useful materials to help us presenting our region, the local organizations and businesses which gave us their support. The Veneto Bag will be given to the local authorities, diplomatic representatives, entrepreneurs and to the press during our press conference and on the various meetings preceding and following our journey.
