Meet our Cultural Association: OSTREGA!
Ostrega!* is a recently founded cultural association that aims at preserving and spreading the identity, history and traditions of the Veneto region. Ostrega! seeks to promote social exchanges with other cultures as opportunities of growth and enrichment. Ostrega! seeks to represent the meeting point for all those Venetians, organizations and associations who want to explore in depth the Veneto culture and traditions in all its guises, such as rituals, theatre, literature, art and so on.
Ostrega! was founded and is based in the small town of Riese Pio X.
*Ostrega, meaning “oyster” in Venetian dialect, is a typical oral exclamation expressing a feeling of positive surprise
